Trails

During the lockdown, while others were mastering sourdough or binge-watching TV, I grabbed a map of the local trails around Bell Canyon, laced up my hiking boots, and decided to become a modern-day trailblazer. My mission? Hike every trail, document every step, and, of course, battle the wild.

The Boeing Trail was my Everest. It was so overgrown that I felt like Indiana Jones hacking through a jungle-but instead of ancient treasure, I found tangled bushes and spiderwebs. That's when I called in the big guns: a few neighbors and the unstoppable Marv. Armed with sheer determination (and some gardening tools), we transformed the trail from a jungle into a hiker's paradise.

Before long, Marv and I had conquered every single trail on the map. By the time we left for Greenville, South Carolina, 2.5 years ago, Boeing Trail was in tip-top shape, practically begging for adventurers to follow in our footsteps. Who knows what it looks like now, but back then? Boeing Trail was pure hiking perfection.
